Slovak Olympians Association
Slovak Olympians Association - SAO, is an association of athletes - participants of the Olympic Games operating throughout Slovakia. It is a member of the SOSC and the World Association of Olympians (WOA).
SAO's role is to:
- pool Olympic athletes and activate them in favor of the development of Olympism,
- help Olympians to integrate into civic life,
- provide social and health care,
- support the Olympic representation,
- organize promotional, educational, sporting, cultural and social events with special focus,
- active cooperate with the Olympic Clubs of the Slovak Republic
